The Wai Called South Kashi

Wai Is called South Kashi.

 I was landed India  from London (UK) 24th March 2023  and my Frist plan to visit Wai because it is my best tourist place .  I was visited near about 15 times to Wai. 

 Wai is a town in Satara district of Maharashtra state in India. Located on the Krishna River, Wai was a prominent town during the Peshwa era. Two important Marathi Brahmin from ruling families had their origins here: Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi and Gopikabai, wife of Nanasaheb Peshwa.

Getting Here By Air: Lohegaon Airport of Pune is the nearest airport to Wai, which is located at 66 km away from Wai. There are regular flights to Pune from all the major cities in the country.

By Train: Wai does not have a railway station of its own, the nearest rail head is Satara which is about 40 km away. 

 By Road: Wai is well-connected by roads. It is located at 230 km from Mumbai, 66 km from Pune and 764 km from Bangalore. There plenty of buses operating from Mumbai, Pune and other major cities  regularly.
